Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation Scholarship for the 2024-2025 academic year:
1. You must be enrolled full-time in a PhD programme, have been accepted into it, or be in your first or second year of study if you want to graduate in 2026 or later.
2. Your subject of study has a broad connection to the humanities or human sciences that are directly relevant to Canada’s future.
3. At least one of the Foundation’s Four Themes—Responsible Citizenship, Canada and the World, People and their Natural Environment—must be related to your PhD study.
4. Be a Canadian citizen enrolling in a PhD programme at a Canadian university, or be a non-Canadian (a permanent resident of Canada or a foreign national).
