NBNA Scholarship Program

The National Black Nurses Association (NBNA) is committed to educational quality and is a strong supporter of continuing education programs for nurses and other allied health professions. Every year, the organization offers scholarships and financial choices to continuing education students. This financing enables nurses, primarily women, to improve and better offer their skills to the healthcare business in urban neighbourhoods.NBNA’s scholarships are presented each year to the Awardees at the Annual Institute & Conference and These scholarships range from $1,000 – $15,000. A two-page essay, official transcripts from a recognized school of nursing, and two letters of recommendation—one from the applicant’s school of nursing and one from the local chapter—or, in the absence of a local chapter, from a nearby nurse—are required of applicants.
