Nurses Educational Fund is provided to Nursing students who seek to pursue their nursing career and education to the highest level, Master, PhD, Doctorate etc. Registered nurses seeking masters and doctorate degrees from authorized nursing programs at colleges and universities in the United States.NEF Scholarships are for Master and Doctoral degree study in Nursing. The Nurses Educational fund is offered to three categories of students; Master’s degree applicants, Doctoral degree (PhD, DNP, EdD) applicants, and Accelerated BSN to Doctoral (PhD, DNP, EdD) applicants.

Nurses Educational Funds Application Requirement/Eligibility
    • Current RN license/Registration with a current expiration date, from any state within the USA Required
    • Current national professional nursing association membership with a current expiration date – such as the American Nurses Association, or speciality organization and/or evidence of international honour society membership (Sigma Theta Tau International). Upload a copy of your membership card.
    • Proof of current citizenship or legal residency status, such as United States Passport (biographic page) with a current expiration date
      Birth Certificate, Naturalization Certificate from the USCIS, Permanent Resident (Green) Card with the current expiration date.
    • A student in a post-graduate certificate program is not eligible for a NEF Scholarship.

Master’s degree Application Requirement;

  • Applicant must be enrolled either full or part-time in a professionally accredited nursing program
  • Applicant must have Completed at least 12 graded credits of the master’s program at the time of application
  • Applicant must Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.6.

Doctoral degree (PhD, DNP, EdD) application  Requirement

  • Applicant must have Completed a master’s degree in nursing
  • Applicant must be enrolled either full or part-time in a professionally accredited nursing program
  • Applicant must have Completed at least 12 graded credits of the program at the time the application
  • Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.6

Accelerated BSN to Doctoral (PhD, DNP, EdD) application Requirement

  • Applicant must be Enrolled full or part-time in a professionally accredited nursing program
  • Applicant must have Completed 45 graded credits of the program at the time of application
  • Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.6.
Nurses Educational Funds Application Procedure
  • Sign in to the website via https://application.n-e-f.org/sign-in to create your account using your personal information
  • Submit your application form along with all official transcripts and Resume
  • Submit Proof of current citizenship or legal residency status
  • Submit the application before February 4 2023.
