Mildred Nutting Nursing Scholarship

The Mildred Nutting Nursing Scholarship is awarded to students who have been accepted or are currently enrolled in an accredited school of nursing. The program offers A one-time $2,000 scholarship for two students who are in financial need and who have been accepted or are currently enrolled in an accredited school of nursing, The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $4,000. This award is offered to undergraduate students in the United States who have been admitted to or are currently enrolled in an authorized nursing school. Candidates from the greater Lowell, Massachusetts region will be given preference. Scholarships are given to students regardless of race, religion, gender, or country of origin. Student performance, devotion to the field of study, and/or financial need, as well as additional constraints on individual scholarships, are used to determine awards and winners are notified by the National DAR Scholarship Chairman following the approval of a ruling by the executive committee of the NSDAR. Awards are paid with the college or institution and any unused amount is remitted to NSDAR.
