Kettering College Application Requirements
- A minimum GED score of 170 (46/460 if taken prior to 2015) or a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 2.3.
- A 2.3 minimum overall college GPA.
- A combined SAT score of 995 or higher, or an ACT composite score of 19 or higher (1350 or above if SAT was taken before March 2016). All applicants who have completed high school or obtained a GED within the previous five years must provide a test score.
- The ACT’s written section is optional.
- No ACT or SAT test is necessary for admission if the applicant has at least 24 units of college credit from a regionally accredited college or university earned after high school graduation.
- International applicants are excluded from this requirement.
- Before the file may be examined by the department and the admissions committee, applicants to some departments must pass the math placement test or provide transfer credit that satisfies the math core requirement.
