There is currently good news for students who will want to further their education for the 2023/2024 academic year. Eastcape Midlands TVET College has opened applications for prospective students who have successfully completed grades 9-12 in high school.
Returning students are also being accepted to enroll in the wide range of courses available at the institute. The application date is 1st September and will end on September 30th, 2023. This article will be helping students know how to register at Midlands and navigate through the courses available.

How To Register At Midlands?
The registration process at Eastcape Midlands TVET College will be done online. However, the application form, proof of payment, and screening results must be made to the Registration office.
- Applicant must first visit the college website on www.emcol.co.za
- Print out your application form
- Print out results for screening
- Deposit the registration fees at the nearest Standard Bank
- Now the applicant must then take the application forms, proof of payment, and screening results to the registration office. A valid ID card must be brought along.

Eastcape Midlands TVET College Registration dates for the 2024/2024 academic year.
For prospective students who may have applied for the college,you should take note of the opening and closing dates of the academic year. Registration will open on 10th January 2024 and will end on 31st January 2024.
Registration Fees To Register At Midlands
The registration fees for prospective students are out for the 2024/2025 academic year.
- Registration fees cost R500 for students who apply early within the period of 3rd September to 31st December 2023.
- On-time applicants will pay R1000 when they apply between 1st and 20th January 2024.
- Those who apply from then on to February 14th, 2024 will pay R1500 as a late penalty for late payment.
Documents Required For Registration At Midlands
To register for admissions to Midlands College, applicants must submit the following documents:
- SAPS -certified copy of student ID document
- Birth certificate
- Certified ID of the legal guardian or parent
- Proof of income of guardian: social grant slip/Recent Salary slip or bank statement
- Number of family members in the household and number of students in the household
- Residential address of the student
- Affidavit to state unemployment: include information if you have been a former beneficiary of the grant and state the amount received.
- Transport amount used monthly
Applicants must note that all documents which will be provided for application must not be more than three months.

NSFAS Application At Midlands College
National Students Financial Aid Scheme is a financial aid scheme which is being funded by the south African government to provide financial support to students who are disadvantaged financially. The support is targeted at students whose household income per a year is not more than R350,000.
