Eastcape Midlands TVET College (EMC) is a Technical and Vocational education and training college where students are trained in various courses to make their dreams of becoming better persons. The college which is popularly known as EMC is a merged form of Uitenhage Technical College, KwaNobuhle Technical College, and Bethelsdorp Technical College. The college originally has eight campuses where students get the chance to choose from any of them to study.
How To Access EMC Portal Login?
Both new and continuing students, especially new students are to create an account before they can access the student portal. For students who are already admitted, they only need to enter ID number and pin. To access the Eastcape Midlands College portal, students must:

- Access the Login Homepage
- Next is to access the student portal at http://www.emcol.co.za
- Input your login information (ID and password)

EMC Application Opening And Closing Dates
The application period for the 2024 academic year will begin in April 2024 and will be closed in November 2024.
EMC Online Application Fee
Applicants must pay the registration fees if they are not on the free registration offer. Fees range between R 500-R1500 depending on the time range you will apply.

EMC boasts a wide range of courses like Business Programs (NVC and Report 191), Engineering Programs (NVC and Report 191), and Occupational Training.
How To Apply At EMC
To apply for admissions to EMC,
- Applicants must go to the Midlands College website www.emcol.co.za
- Click Apply and create an account using your personal details
- Select the application type (new student, returning student, transfer student)
- Fill out the online application with all the required information
- Submit the application form
- Once your application has been received you will be contacted by the Admissions Office with further instructions.
Required Documents For Application To EMC
Applicants must provide all necessary information on forms Certified and necessary documents must be attached to the application letter Documents like:
- Latest school report
- Valid ID of the applicant
- Valid ID card of the applicant’s parent or legal guardian
- Proof of address, email, and a telephone number
- Applicant must then print out screening results and submit them to the head office of the college
NSFAS Application For EMC
The NSFAS is a platform for students who are studying at the Eastcape Midlands TVET College and are coming from families who have an income of R350,000 or less. NSFAS is a funded by the South African government under the Department of Higher Education and Training established according to the NSFAS ACT (Act 56 of 1999). This initiative is to provide financial assistance to students to further their education especially at Eastcape Midlands TVET College.
