WVU Academic Calendar 2023-2024 For Spring 2023/2024;

general registration for the WVU spring 2023 semester begins on January 6, 2023.
On-Campus First Day of Classes starts on January 9, 2023.
The Last Day to Register, Add New Courses, Make Section Changes, Change Pass/Fail and Audit is January 13, 2023.
Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Recess falls on January 16, 2023. Therefore the university will be closed.
Mid–Check Grades Due on March 3, 2023.
Spring Recess begins on March 11- March 19, 2023.
April 7, 2023, is Spring Holiday. The university will be closed.
The Last Day to Drop a Class and the Last Day to Withdraw from the University is April 14, 2023, and the last day of classes for the WVU Spring 2023 semester is April 28, 2023.
WVU Spring 2023 final exams begin on May – May 5, 2023.
WVU spring 2023 commencement begins on May 12- May 14, 2023.

Important Dates & Deadlines For WVU Summer 2023/2024 Academic Session;

WVU Summer registration and On-Campus First Day of Classes is May 15, 2023.
Memorial Day Recess is on May 29, 2023. The university will be closed.
Final Exams for First Six-Week Session are on June 23, 2023.
July 4, 2023, is independence day recess, and the university will be closed.
Final Exams for Second Six-Week Session and 12-Week Session is August 4, 2023.
The degree Conferring Date is August 11, 2023. There will be no ceremonies held.
