UN Immersion Programme 2023

The UN Immersion Programme 2023 is now accepting international students. The scholarship enables internship opportunities in International Relations and Diplomacy offered at the United Nations Institute for Training and Research. The United Nations Immersion Programme is a fully sponsored programme offered by UNITAR in Geneva, Switzerland, this coming year. By participating in this programme, participants will have the opportunity to obtain firsthand experience with the United Nations. The majority of the events will be held in UNITAR’s headquarters in Geneva, the historic Palais des Nations. The programme will be offered from January 30 to February 3, 2023. Each edition accepts a maximum of 30 participants.
Everyone is invited to register, and spaces will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. The program’s goal is to provide participants with legal and diplomatic knowledge and abilities, allowing them to function more successfully in any international setting. The Hague Immersion Programme of NITAR will also emphasise professional development at the United Nations as well as legal knowledge and abilities. Training seminars on these themes will constitute a significant portion of the activities. The internship of the program consists of a delicate equilibrium between Expert lectures, Training workshops, Multilateral conferences, Private guided tours and Career development sessions.

UN Immersion Programme Eligibility/Requirement 2023

• The Immersion Programme is open to everyone with a deep interest in the UN, international law and the city of peace and justice
• Participants /Applicants can come from the public or private sector, NGOs, think tanks and academia.
• This programme is open to people of all nationalities.
• University students and participants from entirely different backgrounds are eligible to apply.
• First-come, first-served basis will be used to assign slots.
• The application must be submitted before 20 Apr 2023
