TTU Academic Calendar serves as a guide for students, parents, prospective students, and the world as a whole to keep track of upcoming events to help them prepare their schedules and to prevent piling up work and events for a successful academic year. TTU Academic Calendar contains deadlines to drop or add classes, to withdraw from classes, to apply for graduation, to register for courses, to make funds payments, holidays, etc. which prompt Students, Staff and Non-staff, Parents, and interested persons of specific key dates that need to be tracked. TTU Academic Calendar Important Dates and Deadlines for Spring 2023/2024;

  • TTU 2023 mandates 95% tuition and fees or enrollment payment plan due on Friday, January 6, 2023.
  • TTU Spring 2023 move into Residency halls is on Sunday, January 8, 2023.
  • TTU Faculty on duty starts on January 9, 2023, and Spring 2023 classes begin on January 11, 2023
  • Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, which is a holiday for the university is on Monday 16, January 2023.
  • Tuesday,17 January 2023 is the last day for student-initiated addition of a course on MyTech, Also Courses may be added through January 27 with advisor and instructor permission.
  • The last day for student-initiated drop on MyTech without academic penalty, the last day to withdraw from the university financial penalty, and the last day to change major and /or to transfer between colleges for the current term is on Friday, January 27, 2023.
  • Student-initiated drops made on or after antiquary 28,2023 count against the drop limit.
  • The last day for Graduate degree candidates to file the Graduate school graduate application is on February 3, 2023.
  • The last day to withdraw from the university and receive partial financial credit, the Last day to withdraw from the university and receive a pro-rated Housing and Dining Plan refund, and the last day to change the on-campus Dining Plan level for the spring semester is February 8, 2023.
  • TTU spring 2023 last day for doctoral and masters thesis students to submit the Thesis-Dissertation Defense Notification form is Wednesday, February 15, 2023.
  • Midterm grading opens on march 1,2023.
  • last day for most dining locations until after spring vacation is March 10, 2023.
  • Spring vacation is on March 11-1 April 2023 and limited dining locations fall on March 13 to march 16,2023.
  • Classes and hospitality services dining location resumes on March 20, 2023.
  • The last day for degree candidates and faculty to order invitations and academic regalia at the bookstore and Midterm grades are due via Raiderlink on march 22, 2023.
  • TTU Spring 2023 last day for graduate degree candidates to defend theses/dissertations and the last day for master’s non-thesis students to complete comprehensive evaluations for the master’s degree is March 31, 2023.
  • TTU Spring 2023 first day for all 2023 advance registration for currently enrolled students is on April 3, 2023, which continues through April 17, 2023.
  • Friday, April 7, 2023, is the Last day for graduate degree candidates to submit to the Graduate School the final PDF of their thesis/dissertation, the Last day for graduate degree candidates to submit the Oral Defense and Thesis-Dissertation Approval Form, and the Last day for M.M. and D.M.A. candidates to post the PDFs of recital programs to the ETD website and submit recordings of recitals to the Graduate School.
  • TTU university employees are on duty so therefore there will be no classes on Monday,10 April 2023.
  • The last day to remove grades of I, PR, or CR in the Graduate School is on April 14, 2023, Last day of advance registration for fall 2023 and the Last day for graduate degree candidates to pay the thesis-dissertation fee posted to the Banner account is on April 17, 2023.
  • Official reports due to Graduate School on Interdisciplinary Portfolio for the master’s degree, (non-thesis students) and Official reports due to Graduate School on results of final comprehensive evaluations is on April 17, 2023, according to TTU spring 2023 calendar.
  • According to TTU Spring 2023 academic calendar, TTU Opens registration for fall 2023 begins on April 18, 2023, and also is the Last day to declare pass/fail intentions, the Last day for student-initiated drop on MyTech with an academic penalty, and the last day to withdraw from the university. Although withdrawal can be processed until this date, all tuition and fees related to the registration are due in full and no refunds will be issued.
  • The makeup exam period starts from 26 April to May 3, 2023.
  • TTU spring 2023 last day for undergraduate degree candidates to remove grades of I and PR.
  • Degree candidates grading Raiderlink will be available on May 1, 2023, and grading is due on May 10, 2023.
  • TTU spring 2023 last day of classes is on may 2,2023 and individual study day begins on May 3, 2023.
  • TTU Spring final examination is on May 4-May 9, 2023.
  • TTU spring 2023 semester ends on may 9,2023 and students are expected to move out on May 10, 2023.
  • TTU spring 2023 commencement is on May 12, 2023 – May 13, 2023, and final grades are due via Raiderlink on May 15, 2023.

 

TTU Academic Calendar Important Dates and Deadlines for Early Summer Term 2023;

  • TTU 2023 mandates 95% tuition and fees or enrollment payment plan due on Thursday 25 May 2023.
  • TTU Spring 2023 move into Residency halls is on Sunday, May 28, 2023.
  • TTU Faculty will be on duty and Summer 2023 classes begin on May 30, 2023.
  • Last day for student-initiated addition of a course on MyTech, courses may be added through June 5 with advisor and instructors permission is May 31, 2023.
  • Last day for student-initiated drop on MyTech without academic penalty for Early Summer, Last day to drop a course and have course charges removed for Early Summer and Full Summer(students who apply for withdrawals after June 2), Last day to withdraw from the university for Early Summer without financial penalty, last day for doctoral and master’s thesis students to file a Defense Notification form, Last day for degree candidates to order invitations and academic regalia at the bookstore and Last day to change major and/or transfer between colleges for the current term is on Friday, June 2, 2023.
  • Student-initiated drops made on or after June 5, 2023, for Early or Full Summer counts against the drop limit.
  • Last day to withdraw from the university for Full Summer and receive partial financial credit, Last day to withdraw from the university and receive pro-rated Housing and Dining Plan refund for Early Summer and Full Summer, and Last day to change on-campus Dining Plan level for Early Summer is June 6, 2023.
  • According to TTU Summer 2023 Academic Calendar, the Last day for graduate degree candidates to file the Graduate School application to graduate is June 9, 2023.
  • Monday,19 June 2023 is Juneteeth holiday.
  • Monday,26 June 2023 is the last day for student-initiated drop on MyTech with an academic penalty for Early Summer, and also the last day to withdraw from the university for Early Summer, despite the fact that withdrawals can be processed until this date, all tuition and fees related to the registration are due in full and no refunds will be issued and Last day for undergraduate degree candidates to remove grades of I and PR, Last day to declare pass/fail intentions, Last day for master’s non-thesis degree candidates to complete the comprehensive evaluation and last day for graduate degree candidates to defend theses/dissertations all fall on 26 June 2023.
  • Raidrelink will be available for grading on Tuesday 27 June 2023.
  • According to TTU 2023 Summer Academic Calendar, the last day of classes will be on Thursday 29 June 2023 and final exams will be from 30 June 2023-1 July 2023.
  • Early summer ends and students are expected to move out including students without room reservations for late summer or full summer must vacate the residence hall room on July 1, 2023.
  • Final grades are due via Raiderlink on July 3, 2023.

  • TTU 2023 mandates 95% tuition and fees or enrollment payment plan due on Wednesday, June 28, 2023.
  • TTU move into Residency halls for late summer is on July 2, 2023.
  • TTU Faculty will be on duty and Summer 2023 classes begin on July 3, 2023.
  • The last day for graduate degree candidates to submit to the ETD website the final PDF of the thesis/dissertation and Oral Defense and Thesis-Dissertation Approval Form is also July 3, 2023.
  • July 4, 2023, is Independence Dy and it’s a holiday for the university, according to the TTU academic calendar 2023.
  • Wednesday 5 July 2023 is the Last day for student-initiated addition of a course on MyTech and Courses may be added through July 7 with permission.
  • Last day for student-initiated drop on MyTech without academic penalty, drop a course and have course charges removed for Late Summer, also, to withdraw from the university for Late Summer without financial penalty, Last day to remove grades of I, PR, or CR in the Graduate School, for graduate degree candidates to pay thesis-dissertation fee posted to Banner account, Last day for M.M. and D.M.A. candidates to post the PDFs of recital programs to the ETD website and to submit recordings of recitals to the Graduate School, change major and/or transfer between colleges for the current term, withdraw from the university and receive pro-rated Housing and Dining Plan refund for Late Summer, change on-campus Dining Plan level for Late Summer is Friday, July 7, 2023.

  • Monday 31, July is the last day to drop a course or withdraw from the university for Full or Late Summer, undergraduate degree candidates are to remove grades of I and PR, to declare pass/fail intentions according to TTU Academic Calendar for Late Summer 2023.
  • Raiderlink will be available for grading on August 1, 2023.
  • The last day of classes is on August 2023 and the final examination begins from August 3 to August 4, 2023.
  • Late Summer and Full Summer parts of the term end on August 4, 2023.
  • Commencements come off on August 5, 2023, and students without room reservations for Fall 2023 must vacate the residence hall.
  • Final grades dues via Raiderlink on August 7, 2023.
