How To Apply

Bursary Application 

Applicants applying for financial aid must submit proof of financial need such as bank statements.

Eligibility Criteria 

The following criteria needs to be met before an applicant is deemed eligible:

  • Candidate must be a non-Chinese national in good physical condition.
  • The applicants for the pre-college programme must be under the age of 23 and have a high school diploma.
  • The applicants for bachelor’s degree programmes must be at least 25 years old and have a high school diploma.
  • The minimum age requirement for applicants to master’s programmes is 35 years old, and applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree.
  • The candidate students must be under 40 years old, have a Master’s degree, and be applying for a PhD programme.
  • Excellent academic performance.
  • The applicant must meet the HSK4 language proficiency standards for Chinese and the applied university’s programme.
  • Meeting the program’s and university’s entrance requirements.
  • Applicant that has received any other scholarships offered by Chinese government or organizations is not eligible to apply SGS.
