myMDC: Simple Guide to Access MDC Student Portal 2023
Your MyMDC Account gives you online access to your email, grades, financial assistance, scholarship awards, and other crucial details about your time at Miami Dade College. The username and password associated with your My MDC account are required to verify your identity while accessing any of the web services available on the MDC website. Please review the information below for further information on how to access your MyMDC account for the 2023 academic year.
Logging Into MDC Student Portal
- Go to my.mdc.edu.
- To log in, click MDC Connect.
- Input your username.
- Input yourr password.
- To see your courses and grades, click “Sign In.”
Creating MyMDC Account
MyMDC Account Creation Requirements
- Student Number or Social Security Number
- First Name
- Last Name
- Date of Birth
Once the system has identified you, you will be prompted to:
- Accept MDC’s computing policies
- Create a password
- Create a challenge question and answer you can use later in case you forget your password.
After completing the process, you will receive your MyMDC username and student email address. You must bear in mind:
- Your username and password
- Your Student ID Number
- The answer to the challenge question that you will create.
The actions below must be followed in order to change your MyMDC account username.
- First, you must get your name changed at the Admissions & Registration office.
- Documentation of the name change must be submitted together with a legitimate picture ID that bears your current legal name.

What To Do When You Forget Your MDC Account Password
- You have the following choices if you forget your MyMDC account password:
- Visit the page for password resets. Your name, date of birth, and social security number or student ID number must be entered.
- Your username and the choice to create a new password will then be displayed on the screen. The information you are submitting does not match what the College has on file if the website cannot validate the accuracy of the data you input.
- To make sure your name, social security number, and date of birth are accurate in the College record, you must go to the Admissions office on campus. You will be given the option to reset your password when the information is validated.
- At 305-237-2505, you may reach the IT Help Desk as well. For a password reset, choose Option 1; next, choose the Home Campus option.
- For assistance, you can also go to any campus library or computer lab at MDC. When changing your password in person, you must present a legitimate photo ID.
