Ikhala TVET College has embraced the digital age with its user-friendly online application system to make the application process seamless and accessible. It was established in April 2002 and currently have 1400 students. Most of its students are from the Eastern Cape Province in the Northern Region of the country.
Their campuses are in Sterkspruit, Queenstown, Aliwal North, Ezibeleni, and Queen Nonesi. Through the strengthening of strategic stakeholder relationships and guaranteeing business excellence, the institution seeks to offer programmes that are of high quality and responsive to the community.

The application opening and closing dates for applicants to apply to Ikhala Tvet College are:
- Online application will open on September 1st, 2024, for the academic year 2024–2025.
- Deadline for submission of applications for the academic year 2024–2025 is September 30, 2024.

Application Fee To Register At ikhala.coltech.co.za
Applicants are to pay a non-refundable application fee of R100 except for those applying for National Certificate (Vocational) and Report 191 programmes.

- After the career guidance, kindly visit the official website to access the online application form.
- Choose the course you want to study and fill out the online application for the programme or course you’ve chosen.
- Attach all the necessary documents and ensure your documents are clear and certified before uploading to avoid rejection of your application form.
- After completing each step, you will get an email letting you know how your application is progressing.
- The college will begin the selection process after the application deadline and contact you regarding the status of your application by email and SMS.
- If you have been accepted, the institution will ask that you take a pace test after which you are expected to att end classes.

Ikhala TVET College have a lot of programmes including National Certificate Vocational Courses such as tourism and hospitality. They also have Engineering National Certificate Vocational Level 2-4, a Business Faculty, Skills and other programmes.

L2 – Grade 09 or NQF Level 1 Qualification or higher
L3 – Pass five (5) or all the Office Administration L2 Subjects
L4 – Pass five (5) or all the Office Administration N3 Subjects
NSFAS At ikhala.coltech.co.za
Students who require financial aid can turn to the National Student Financial Aid Service (NSFAS). The student must be enrolled in a TVET college like the Ikhala TVET College and come from a family with an annual income of no more than R350,000 in order to qualify for Nsfas.
The Department of Higher Education and Training supports the Ikhala TVET College Nsfas financial assistance programme to assist students who are unable to obtain bank loans, study loans, or bursaries and do not have the money necessary to pay for their education.
