The Columbia University Office of Student Financial Services collaborates with the GSAPP Office of Admission and Financial Aid to provide student assistance, such as Federal Loan processing and information on the Estimated Cost of Attendance and Aid Types. In order to assist the graduate studies of the most competent students from a variety of backgrounds and countries, Columbia GSAPP provides institutional financial help. GSAPP scholarships for new students are competitive and given out at the time of admission. They are given out based on recommendations by the program’s admissions committee. For the academic year 2023–2024, the scholarship program will give out up to 30 need-based, $5,000 tuition-relieving scholarships. The Scholarship Need Assessment submissions will be used to make choices, and the students with the greatest financial need will be given priority. All currently enrolled students are eligible to apply. Columbia GSAPP provides institutional financial aid to the most highly qualified students from a diverse variety of backgrounds and countries in order to fund their graduate studies.
GSAPP scholarships for entering students are competitive and are provided based on recommendations from the program’s admissions committee.
These scholarships seek to decrease financial obstacles, enhance fairness and access to education, and produce students of the highest calibre who can benefit from and contribute to the GSAPP experience. A direct tuition award is disbursed in the student’s account each term by the end of the change of program period

  • All domestic and international students are eligible to apply.
  • Students can apply for any preferred degree program offered at the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation of Columbia University.
  • The applicants must be enrolled in a full-time program.
  • The applicants must have good academic standing.
