Global Master’s Scholarship 2023-24 at Karolinska Institutet Sweden

International Students are eligible for the Global Master’s Scholarship 2023–2024 at Karolinska Institutet in Sweden. The scholarship allows students to enroll in Masters-level programs at Karolinska Institute in the areas of bio-entrepreneurship, bio-medicine, global health, public health, toxicology, nutrition sciences, and molecular techniques in life science. The scholarship application date is January 16, 2023. Few tuition fee scholarships are available from Karolinska Institutet to deserving students who have been accepted into one of the Global Master’s Programs that begin each Autumn semester. The number of scholarships varies from year to year, but KI only offers a maximum of 10 per year across all Global Master’s Programmes. Since only about 1500 students apply for this award each year, the competition is fierce.

Scholarship Benefits
  • Only programs that are partially offered by Karolinska Institutet are covered by this scholarship, either in full or in part. You’ll need to find additional cash to cover other costs, such as travel and living.
  • Additionally, the KI Global Master’s Scholarship is only available to students enrolled in the Global Masters Program at KI and cannot be utilized for any other type of study.

  • This scholarship is open for international students.
Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the KI Global Master’s Scholarship, you must:

  • by February 1, 2023, be a paying student (not from the EU/EEA) who has paid the application fee.
  • Additionally, you must fulfill the program’s admission and documentation requirements.
  • You must have submitted an application for a 2023-starting global master’s program at Karolinska Institutet.
  • Only first-year students are eligible to apply.
Application Procedure
Selection process
  • The selection process is based on an overall assessment of the applicant’s CV and qualifications that are submitted via University Admissions and evaluated in connection with the application for a KI Global Master’s programme.
  • Scholarship awardees will be notified personally.
