George B. Boland Nurses Training Scholarship 2023-2024

George B. Boland Nurses Training Scholarship 2023-2024 also known as The Société des Quarante Hommes et Huit Chevaux, also known as The Forty and Eight, is an independent, invitation-only honour society of American veterans and service members known as The Forty and Eight provides charitable and patriotic aims. The goal of the George B. Boland Nurses Training Scholarship is to protect and defend the United States Constitution, to promote the well-being of veterans, their widows, widowers, and orphans, and to actively participate in selected charity activities such as programs promoting child welfare and nursing training. The Boland Nurses Scholarship Trust was established to give additional scholarship support to Voitures Locale which has exhausted its scholarship monies but still has suitable applicants.  The George B. Boland Nurses Training Trust Fund Program offers two types of scholarship grants which include; applicants pursuing an education up to and including the Bachelor’s Degree level and those pursuing a degree above the Bachelor Degree level or Advanced Degree. An amount of $1,000.00 is awarded to the winners of the scholarship.

George B. Boland Nurses Training Scholarship Application Requirement 2023-2024

• Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Applicant must be enrolled and considered a full-time student by the applicable educational institution.
• Applicant must be pursuing an education in the field of nursing, leading to either a Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification or license.
• Applicants MUST be within the jurisdiction of the sponsoring Voiture Locale.
• Applicant must be in a state of financial need

• Complete and submit application online via hweinbrecht@fortyandeight.org.
• Submit all required transcripts and school reports.
• Submit FAFSA form
• The application must be submitted before the deadline; the Deadline will be communicated later
