EMPOWER Scholarships 2023-2024

The Empower Scholarship seeks to make education accessible by giving financial assistance in the form of scholarships to eligible individual students. The EMPOWER Scholarship promotes and supports racial persons who are admitted to or enrolled in a post-secondary institution and are pursuing a career in the medical or rehabilitative fields. The Scholarship Fund supports student achievement by assisting students in obtaining a higher education and investing in a better future. The applicant’s Selection is based on the applicant’s declared objectives, prior achievements, needs, and graduation ranking. The scholarship Scholarships are available to eligible students that attend; the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine, Chamberlain University, Ross University School of Medicine, Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and Walden University. The EMPOWER Scholarship focuses on rehabilitation. 100% of donations made go directly towards funding student scholarships.

The Empower Scholarship awards more than 1000 scholarships to students at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine, Chamberlain University, Ross University School of Medicine, Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and Walden University.

The EMPOWER Scholarships recipients receive $1,500 and The scholarship is non-renewable. The EMPOWER Scholarships awards a total amount of $3,000 to recipients.

EMPOWER Scholarships Application Requirement 2023-2024

• Applicants must be residents of Minnesota or Western Wisconsin.
• Applicant must be enrolled at a college in Minnesota or Western Wisconsin.
• Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 2.0
• Submit a recommendation letter
• Applicant must provide FAFSA form which clearly states that the applicant is in a state of financial need.
• Submit official transcripts
• Applicant must submit Personal statement and Essay
• The application must be submitted before Wednesday, April 15, 2023.

EMPOWER Scholarships Application Procedure

• Complete and submit your application form.
• Submit all official transcripts.
• Attach an Essay and personal statement
• Submit a recommendation letter and FAFSA form
• The application must be submitted before the deadline; Wednesday, April 15, 2023.
