Axel Adler scholarship 2023 – University of Gothenburg Sweden

The University of Gothenburg offers an English-language study program called the Axel Adler scholarship. The Adlerbertska Scholarship Foundation and the Adlerbertska Grant Foundation provide funding for both undergraduate and graduate study abroad. The primary factor used to choose applicants is the applicant’s educational background.

Scholarship Benefits
  • Axel Adler scholarship is a tuition fee scholarship and it will support the complete tuition fee.
Eligible Nationalities
  • International students from any country are eligible to apply for the Axel Adler scholarship 2023.
Eligibility Criteria
  • To be considered for the Axel Adler Scholarship: You must be a paying student and your priority at the University of Gothenburg is an international campus-based program.
  • Please apply by 16 January 2023 and pay the application fee and document your eligibility for studies by February 1, 2023, through www.universityadmission.se.
Application Procedure
  • Students who have applied to a program at the University of Gothenburg as their first priority through www.universityadmission.se will receive an email with application instructions on 8 February 2023.
  • The invitation to apply for Axel Adler Scholarship will be sent to the email address you have registered at universityadmissions.se.
  • If you are eligible and have not received an email by this date (and also checked your Spam mail folder), please let them know by sending a mail to scholarships@gu.se.
  • When applying for the Axel Adler Scholarship 2023 you shall include a CV and a Letter of Motivation as written text, these are used for the selection of scholars.
  • In the motivational letter, you have the possibility to highlight the merits of your CV.
  • It is not possible to attach any other form of documentation to your scholarship application.
Selection process
  • Academic staff make the assessment and ranking, based on the CV and Motivation letter in your scholarship application.
  • The assessment is made in collaboration with the assessment of your application to the study program, in order to assess your suitability for the program as well as your commitment and desire to study.
  • There is one scholarship awarded for each program.
  • There is an exception for Master’s programs in Fine Arts, Crafts, and Design and programs in Music and Performance which will be awarded a total of four scholarships for all programs.
