Arizona Public Service Navajo Scholars Program 2023-2024

Arizona Public Service Navajo Scholars Program 2023-2024 is made up of five (5) scholarships programs; which are;

  • APS Scholarship for ASU Students
  • APS Endowment at ASU West Campus

  • Four Corners Power Plant Navajo

  • Palo Verde Scholarships

  • APS Phoenix Suns STEM Teacher Grants
The Arizona Public Service Navajo ASU Students Program Application Requirement;
Scholarships are available to selected ASU students majoring in Engineering, Information Technology, or Business Studies. Applications are open to all eligible ASU students. But; two scholarships are reserved for APS members each year
  • Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
  • Applicant must be in a financial need state.
  • Applicant should be full-time enrolled.
  • Applicants must submit a complete online FAFSA Application form.
  • Applicants must either be Incoming freshmen, Incoming transfer (undergraduate), Freshmen, Sophomores, juniors, or seniors.
  • The applicant should be located in Downtown Phoenix, Polytechnic, Tempe or West.
  • Applicant should specify in any of these fields; Computer and information sciences and support services, Computer and information sciences, general engineering, Computer engineering, Electrical, electronics and communications engineering, Mechanical engineering, Business, management, marketing and related support services, Accounting and related services and Finance and financial management service.
APS Endowment at ASU West Campus 2023/2024;

APS Endowment at ASU West Campus scholarship is available to students pursuing a baccalaureate degree at ASU West. The APS Endowment at ASU West Campus Grants is renewable as long as the recipient continues to meet established criteria.APS Endowment at ASU Campus applicants Must be an Arizona resident and must have a  cumulative GPA of at least a 3.0 in science, technology, engineering, mathematics or finance field of study . Applicant should be in financial need.

 

Four Corners Power Plant Navajo Scholarship 2023/2024;

The Four Corners Power Plant Scholarship helps prepare selected Navajo students for careers in the energy industry. Students living near the factory can apply for the Four Corners Power Plant Scholarship.

 

Palo Verde Scholarships 2023/2024;
The Palo Verde Scholarship Program provides suitable financial support for high school seniors from the communities surrounding the Palo Verde Power Plant.
Palo Verde Scholarships 2023/2024 Application Requirement;
  • Applicant must be a graduate of one of the public schools located in the communities surrounding the Palo Verde Power Plant.
  • Applicant should be enrolled as a full-time student at an Arizona university, college or trade school for the upcoming academic year.
  • Applicant must have a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher
  • Applicants must demonstrate participation in academic, extracurricular, volunteer or community activities.
Arizona Public Service Navajo Scholars Program Application Procedure 2023/24;
  • Complete and submit the application.
  • Submit a letter of recommendation from a professional who can attest to the academic success and character of the applicant.
  • Attach an official transcript or letter from a school official.
  • Attach and submit a sheet of volunteer/community service, awards, honours, extracurricular activities and any leadership positions.

Arizona Public Service Navajo Scholars Program 2023-2024 application deadline is May 31, 2023.
