UWinsite Student: Best guide to Access University of Windsor Portal 2023
The student information platform at the University of Windsor is called UWinsite Student. It took the place of the Student Information System, often known as Forte, SIS, or myUWindsor.ca on campus. Campus Solutions, an Oracle PeopleSoft product utilized in post-secondary universities in North America and beyond, forms the foundation of UWinsite Student. It has modules for financial aid, academic advice, convocation, student finances, and records of enrolled students. Logging Into UWinsite
- Go to uwindsor.ca/uwinsitestudent on your web browser, ideally Google Chrome.
- The blue SIGN IN TO UWINSITE STUDENT button should be clicked.
- Enter (or pick) your UWinID@uwindsor.ca on the sign-in screen.
- Then press the Next button.
- Enter your UWin Account password on the Enter password prompt.
- Select Sign In from the menu.
- You are currently on your Student Homepage or Applicant Homepage after successfully logging into UWinsite Student.
- If you need to change homepages, click the little white arrow next to the homepage name and choose the new homepage from the drop-down menu that appears.
Activating Your UWin Account For The First Time
- Go to the Account Activation for First-Time Students/Applicant page.
- Put in your PIN and student number (Your Student Number and PIN are in your Application Acknowledgement Email from the University of Windsor).
- Simply press the Submit button.
- You will receive a new UWin ID. Please make a note of it.
- Specify a new password.
- Go on to the following action.
Changing Your UWin Account Password
- Navigate to account.uwindsor.ca via a web browser.
- Enter your UWin ID and UWin Account password on the Sign in tab.
- Select Sign In from the menu.
- Click the Change Password option in the left-hand column.
- Make sure your new password satisfies the criteria by entering it again.
- Select Update from the menu.
Registering For Classes
- Go to www.uwindsor.ca/uwinsitestudent in your web browser, ideally Google Chrome.
- The blue SIGN IN TO UWINSITE STUDENT button should be clicked.
- Enter (or pick) your UWinID@uwindsor.ca on the sign-in screen.
- Then press the Next button.
- Enter your UWin Account password on the Enter password prompt.
- Select Sign In from the menu.
- Tap the Manage Classes tile on the Student Homepage.
- In the left-hand menu, click the Class Search and Enroll link.
- You will be sent to the Search For Classes page after selecting your phrase.
- Enter a keyword or keywords to limit the number of search results.
- Your Class Search Results page will provide a list of courses.
- Choose the course you want to take for the chosen term.
- You will be given a list of available classes.
- Select a class from the list.
- If you are pleased with the class, meeting dates, days, and times, review your class selection and click Next.
- If the class is filled, check your class preferences and choose to add your course to the waitlist before clicking Accept.
- The choice to enroll in the course or place it in your shopping basket will be presented to you.
- Review your course selection, then press “Submit.”
- Depending on the option you choose, you will next get a confirmation that the course has been added to your itinerary or shopping basket.
- You must go to the Shopping Basket option in the left-hand navigation if you have already added the course to your shopping cart.
Searching For Classes
- Enter UWinsite.
- Select the Manage Classes tile on the Student Homepage.
- Choose the search keyword for the courses you want to find.
- On the left navigation menu, select the Class Search and Enroll option.
- Enter search terms to find courses. For example: course, subject, class, topic.
- The outcomes of the class search are now available.
