UMass SPIRE: Best Guide to Access UMass Student Portal 2023
The student information system of the University of Massachusetts Amherst is called UMass SPIRE. Students may use it to handle housing assignments, university funds, and more in addition to class registration. Logging Into UMass SPIRE
- Visit spire.umass.edu.
- Type in your NetID (IT Account user name)
- Put your password in.
- To log into SPIRE, click Go.
- Go to the SPIRE Menu and choose IT Accounts.
- To display account information, select My IT Accounts.
Changing Your Password
- Utilize your NetID and password to sign in to UMass SPIRE.
- Select My SPIRE > Change My Password from the SPIRE menu.
- The date and time that you last updated your password are displayed in the Password last changed on box.
- Click Change IT Password after entering your new password in the appropriate areas.
- Make sure your password satisfies our standards for robust passwords.
- Go to IT Accounts > My IT Accounts, select the account name, and then follow the instructions on the page to change the password for a Course Account or Subsidiary Account.
About Your NetID
- Your primary user name for all IT services is your NetID (IT Account user name).
- You use this ID to access college email or the network on campus.
- Your NetID is neither your Social Security Number or your 8-digit UCard ID; rather, it is a case-sensitive ID based on your first and/or last name.
- You may access the campus network, UMass SPIRE, email, and a ton of other things with your NetID, which also acts as the main user name for your IT Account.
