UGA eLearning Commons (eLC) is the online Learning Management System for the University of Georgia. The UGA eLC of the University of Georgia is also known as D2L OR D2L Brightspace. eLearning Commons (eLC) provides a FERPA-protected platform for the University of Georgia (Athena) courses for accommodating classroom content and activities in a shared online learning space. Students, Staff and Faculty can use eCLto share and store documents, execute quizzes, immerse students in online discussions, provide video, audio and other resources, and deliver course announcements.
The University of Georgia’s eLearning Commons (UGA eLC) is highly customizable and offers instructors the ability to personalize course content and experience. eLearning Commons can be considered as a vast storage where you can store and track information related to your coursework. Students can access their UGA eLC for their course materials and activities.
Below is a step-by-step guide on how to log into the University of Georgia’s eLearning Commons (eLC). You can log in to eLC on your desktop or Laptop with a web browser or on your mobile phone with the Brightspace Pulse app. The Brightspace Pulse application is available in Google Play Store for Android and App Store for iOS. Anyone with a valid UGA myID login and password, will be able to log in and access eLC and engage in specific courses using a computer or mobile device. The UGA MyID is the sign-on name that students, faculty, and staff use to access a wide range of online services at UGA. Each MyID has a password associated with it that requires to be provided when accessing these services.
