This site provides you with you need to know about UF Webmail. The UF Webmail is a system designed for effective communication purposes. The GatorLink username (“GatorLink ID“) is the first part of your UF email address, followed by @ufl.edu. You should regularly log in and check your GatorCloud email account if you’re a University of Florida student. Your UF Webmail account is used to receive all crucial communications, such as notifications of events, responses to inquiries, UF Canvas access, etc. See below for more details on the 2023 UF Email services.
Logging Into UF Email
Visit Outlook.com/UofL.
Enter the username you use for Gatorlink.
Enter your password after that.
In order to access UF email, sign in last.
Setting Up UF Email On Your Android Phone
Open the Gmail app, choose the three horizontal arrows in the search bar’s upper left corner, and then choose Settings.
Now, a list of your active email accounts should appear. Choose “Add Account.”
Select “Exchange and Office 365” from the following menu.
Enter your password in the corresponding field on the following screen.
Your email address should be entered in the domainusername field as GatorLink@ufl.edu.
Please type “outlook.office365.com” in the server area.
SSL/TLS should be chosen, and the port number should be 443.
Click “Next.”
If the app is successful in connecting, you should see a screen that reads, “Your account is ready to go.”
Your account will sync and import all of your email and calendar entries after a short while.
How to Install Gatormail On Your iPhone
Select “Passwords and Accounts” in the left-hand column of the IOS settings menu, then choose “Add Account” in the right pane.
Then, click “Microsoft Exchange” on the following screen.
Enter your email address (gatorlink@ufl.edu) and assign your account a nickname.
Select “Next“
Please click “Configure Manually” on the next pop-up window.
Your email details will need to be entered on the following screen.
Your email address in the format “gatorlink@ufl.edu” should appear in the email box.
In the server box, enter “outlook.office365.com”.
The domain box should be left empty.
Your email address should be entered in the username field as “gatorlink@ufl.edu.”
After providing your password, click “Next.”
After that, the app will try to connect to your email.
Once linked, you may choose what kind of information to sync.
Kindly note:
Students have 50 GB of storage space and access to the UF global address list, which contains the contact information for UF students, professors, and staff, using GatorCloud Email.
Both the online and mobile versions of the cloud mailbox can be downloaded.
Since you will only be able to use your UF email account for six months after you graduate, UF advises using your personal email address while applying for jobs and school to guard against losing access.
