UC Catalyst: Helpful Guide to Access UC Student Portal 2023
The student information system at the University of Cincinnati is called UC Catalyst. Your access point to your academic record, university billing, financial assistance, and more is this online tool and student portal. Logging Into UC Catalyst
- Visit the website catalyst.uc.edu.
- Enter the username.
- Type your password.
- To access your student portal, click Log In.
Changing Your Password
- Please visit the UC Change Password Website if you already know your password but need to change it.
- Log in after arriving and select Change Password. After that, you will be asked to agree the terms and conditions.
- You will be asked for your current password after agreeing to the terms and conditions; after entering it, click Continue.
- If your current password is approved, a screen asking for a new password and confirmation of the new password will be displayed.
- The password criteria are mentioned, however if your password doesn’t fulfill them, you’ll get a red notice with an explanation if it doesn’t. In addition, clicking the Change Password option won’t work.
- You will see a red X next to the confirm password area if your confirmation password does not coincide with the new password.
- The Change Password button will then be clickable if your new password satisfies all the conditions.
- To proceed, click Change Password.
- After that, your password change will be processed, and you’ll get a notice letting you know it was successful.
- A confirmation email for your password change will also be sent to you.
- If you have one, this email will also be delivered to your primary UC email account and the PSS Profile email you specified.
Adding Classes On UC Catalyst
- Log into UC Catalyst.
- The My Academics tile should be chosen.
- Open the drop-down menu for Classes and Schedule.
- Select the Add/Drop Classes option.
- To search for and register for the class you require, simply follow the on-screen instructions.
- Make sure you reach the very end to get the green check mark indicating that you have registered.
- Check your schedule to make sure the class was added.
Dropping Classes On UC Catalyst
- Log into UC Catalyst.
- The My Academics tile should be chosen.
- Open the drop-down menu for Classes and Schedule.
- Select the Add/Drop Classes option.
- At the top of the page, click the drop hyperlink.
- Make sure you complete the process all the way through to get the green check mark indicating that you have dropped your class.
- By looking at your schedule, you can confirm that your class was canceled.
