Tufts SIS: How to Access Tufts University Portal 2023

The Student Information System (SIS) of record for academic, personal, and financial information on Tufts University students is called Tufts Sis. Tufts Portal provides administrative assistance for departments and operations that rely on student data. It gives students access to course registration, course schedules and catalogs, financial assistance details, grades, and more. Logging Into Tuft SIS

Go to go.tufts.edu/sis.
The “Tufts Login” button must be clicked.
The next tab should be used by invited viewers.
Enter your tufts username on the Shibboleth login page.
Enter your Tufts password after that.
To access your account dashboard, click “Login.”

Registering For Classes In Tufts SIS

Select the “Classes” tab from the top row of your Tufts SIS site.
Choosing “Enrollment Cart.”
Choose a class or courses.
Review the confirm classes page that will show when you click “Enroll.”
You will get a screen after clicking “Finish Enrolling” that either says “Success: enrolled” or “Error: unable to add class.”
If you can’t fix any issues, get in touch with us.
To complete this step again, click “Add Another Class.”
The class is shown at the bottom of the window for the shopping cart.

Modifying A Course Registration In Tufts SIS

Select “Classes” from the menu.
“Edit Class Component” should be chosen.
After choosing the class you want to update, move on to step two.
You can select a different lab or recitation component in step two.
Select “Next”
Click on “Finish Editing”.

Dropping A Course In Tufts SIS

Select “Classes” from the menu.
Choose “Drop.”
Click “Drop Selected Classes” after selecting the class or classes you want to drop.

About Enrollment Error

When you attempted to register for a course, did you encounter an error? If the course is full but you want to see if the teacher might let you in, it might have a prerequisite that is not already on your academic record, it might require instructor permission, or it might have one of these other conditions:

Whether you have an enrollment mistake due to a time conflict, you must fill out this form rather than proceed with the procedures below; otherwise, contact the course teacher to determine if you may still enroll in the course.
The teacher must authorize your enrollment in the course in Tufts SIS if they agree to it.
You can register for the course on Tufts SIS up to the add deadline if you receive permission in SIS.

You must withdraw from the course and re-register if you are on the waitlist but have authorization to enroll. Additionally, you might need to remove the course from your shopping basket and enter it back in if you receive an enrollment issue after receiving authorization.
