TERPmail: How to Access TERPmail UMD Login Portal 2023

Undergraduate students at the University of Maryland have access to TERPmail, an email scheduling and collaboration platform. It is the default method for student email communication and is based on Google Apps. In October 2011, TERPmail took the place of Mirapoint email. At the University of Maryland (UMD), everyone who works there and is a graduate student is given a UMD Gmail account. For more details on how to access the UMD TERPmail, 2023, see the section below.

TERPmail Login Instructions

Go to terpmail.umd.edu to access it.
Click Enter TERPmail.
Enter your email address.
Choose Next.
To access your account, type your password.

Making Your TERPmail Account Active

Navigate to Service Activation in a web browser.
Click on TERPmail account activation.
Your Directory ID and password should be entered on the Service Activation page.
Sign in.
Select the checkbox next to TERPmail Email and Calendar. After that, click Send.
On this page, you can also activate a TerpConnect account.
If you choose not to activate it right away, you can afterwards.
You presently have that account if you see the word “Activated.”
A popup with a congratulations message will appear.
Click the Set your password option on the homepage. By doing this, the process of changing your password will begin.

How to Set Up Your First TERPmail Account Login

Access the TerpMail home page. Click Terpmail Login.
A sign-in window for your Google Account will appear.
The Choose an Account window will appear if you have a Google account signed in.
To access the Google Account Sign In window, click Add Account.
Enter a TERPmail address in the Username area.
Enter a TERPmail password in the Password area.
Press Sign in.
A window for greetings will appear.
As you see the letters on your screen, type them in.
Hit “I accept.” onto my account now.
A Welcome message will appear once your account has been activated.
Check the email account you have listed in Testudo for this message.
