TAMUCC SAIL student portal is accessible and available to all students, former students (alumni), faculty and staff of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. To access your TAMUCC SAIL, you must first log into your account with your ISLAND ID or Email address and password. Your Email address is your IslandID followed by “@islander.tamucc.edu”. If you don”t have your IslandID yet, follow the steps below to get yours.
How to Get your IslandID
- Go to TAMUCC SAIL Login portal page at https://www.tamucc.edu/sail from a web browser.
- Locate the “GET ISLAND ID” link and click on it.
- The MyIslandID portal will appear.
- Click on “New User?”.
- Enter your Security code and birthdate to claim your identity and set your password. Your security code is found in the email you received from Information Technology with the subject line “My Island ID is ready for use”.
- Click on “Submit” to proceed.
- Now read the Acceptable Use Policy and select Accept to proceed.
- Your IslandID will be displayed.
- Click on “Next”.
- Answer the security questions presented or employ the pencil icon to choose different questions.
- Click on “Submit” once you are done answering all the questions asked.
- Create and confirm your new password.
- Click on “Reset Password” to set your new password.
Once you have your Island ID and password, you can proceed to log in to TAMUCC SAIL by following the steps below:
How to Login to TAMUCC SAIL
- On your web browser, navigate to TAMUCC Sail login portal page at https://www.tamucc.edu/sail.
- Locate “CURRENT STUDENTS LOGIN” at the bottom of the SAIL page.
- Click on “CURRENT STUDENTS LOGIN” to access the TAMUCC student login portal.
- Enter your Island ID or Island Email address. Your Island Email address is your Island ID followed by “@islander.tamucc.edu”.
- Click on “Next”.
- Enter your password.
- Click on “Sign in” to access your TAMUCC SAIL account.
Once you’re logged into your TAMUCC SAIL account you can register for your classes.
How to Register for Classes
- To register for classes, you must first log in to your TAMUCC SAIL student portal. Follow the steps above to login.
- Click on the Student tab then click on the “Registration” link.
- Now click on the “Add or Drop Classes” link.
- Select the preferred term from the drop-down menu.
- Click on “Submit” to proceed.
- Now in the spaces provided, enter the 5-digit Call Number (CRN) for each class you would like to add to your schedule. Kindly note that the Call Number (CRN) for each course is found in the Call Number (CRN) column of the class schedule.
- Click on “Submit Changes” once you are done entering the Call Numbers for all courses you want to take.
