Survival Guide to LionPATH Schedule of Courses 2023

Each semester, Penn State University provides a wide range of courses, which are included in the LionPATH Schedule of Courses. The Penn State LionPATH course schedule for 2023 and instructions for scheduling classes as a PSU student are provided below.

Tasks Prior to Registration

Please visit LionPath at lionpath.psu.edu.
Simply select Self-Service.
Toggle to Student Center.
When LionPath asks you to do business electronically, accede to their request.
Click on the link to the Pre-Registration Activity Guide in the To Do List box on the right side of the page.
Complete every assignment in the Student Task Work Center, which is located on the left side of the screen.
Select Self-Service and then Student Center after clicking the Main Menu tab at the top.

Making A Schedule and Choosing Courses

Locate the section titled Academics. All of the key tools you’ll employ are listed beneath that header.
Search: Enables you to learn more about the courses available in Fall 2016.

Plan: Enables you to create an academic schedule for eight semesters.
Enroll: This option directs you to your enrollment shopping basket, which lists the courses you’ve selected.
My Academics: This feature enables you to look up information about your adviser, transfer credits, course history, transcript, and graduation.
Schedule Builder: This tool enables you to create a semester schedule that you can upload into your shopping cart for enrolling.
Select Schedule Builder to create a schedule.
On the green “Click Here” button, click.
Change the search parameters.
At the very least, limit the campus selection to the one that is right for you.
The Course Status filter is another excellent tool that lets you select only open courses or only open courses and full classes with a wait-list option.
Press Add Course.
Select a course title and subject. Particularly when you’re transferring from one subject to another, it could take a little while for course numbers to populate.
In order to add a course to your schedule, click the Add button.
Once all of your courses have been added, return to Schedule Builder’s home page by clicking the Back button to the left of the Add button. Don’t use your browser’s back button!
To further limit your possibilities, click the Options icon located next to any class.
By selecting Add Break, you can block specific times on your schedule.
To see every conceivable timetable that includes your desired courses, click on Generate Schedules.
Select the time slot of your choice, then click Send to Enrollment Cart.
To leave, close the Schedule Builder window.

Authenticating Your Enrollment Cart

Return to the LionPath home page’s Student Center.
Under Academics, select Enrollment Shopping Cart from the drop-down menu.
Choose the correct semester.
Select “Import Cart” (in the yellow alert box).
As you review each particular course you have selected, click Next. When you’re finished, you’ll be able to see everything in your enrollment shopping cart at once.
To confirm that you are authorized to schedule all of the courses you’ve selected, click Validate at the bottom of the page.
Go back to the shopping cart for enrollment.
