SUNY Plattsburgh International Student Scholarship 2023

All approved international freshman students get partial scholarships from SUNY Plattsburgh based on academic merit (high school GPA) and application criteria. Scholarship amounts will be established following a thorough examination of your grades, academic and non-academic achievements, activities, and exam results. The award scholarships are based on academic merit; high school average or transfer GPA and student type (first-year or transfer). International students enrolled as first-year students who did not qualify for a merit award at the time of admission may be eligible for a scholarship based on their cumulative SUNY Plattsburgh GPA. Any semester in which these students achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or above, a $3,000 merit grant will be added to the next semester’s rewards. 100% of approved overseas students get partial grants from SUNY Plattsburgh. They do not provide full scholarships; instead, award packages cover 20-40% of the overall cost of education. Tuition, food, lodging, personal expenditures, and fees are all included in the total cost of attendance at SUNY Plattsburgh. Partial scholarships are provided to all approved overseas students, which can assist you and your family in realizing your ambition and the scholarship packages are renewable each year. The scholarship is provided to three different criteria

Scholarships for International First-Year Students;
Scholarships for International Transfer Students;
Scholarships for Current International Students;

• It is open to all international students.
• Scholarships are based on your academic merit (high school average or transfer GPA) and student type (first-year or transfer).
• Applicant must be enrolled in an accredited institution
• Applicant must be a high school graduate

SUNY Plattsburgh International Student Scholarship 2023 Application Procedure

• There is no separate application for scholarship criteria.
• Complete the Common Application or SUNY Application
• Pay the $50 application fee
• Send an official high school transcript
• submit at least one teacher or counsellor recommendation
• The application must be submitted before the deadline.
