Quick Guide to Umich Wolverine Access 2023

Current and prospective University of Michigan students can quickly and easily access password-protected personal university information, such as financial aid paperwork, notices, and student account statements, through Wolverine Access. You can create a page linking to all the university resources you require as a Michigan community member using the new Wolverine Access. You have access to all of the university’s resources and infrastructure thanks to Wolverine Access. Below is a list of everything you need to know about the Wolverine Access.

How to Log Into Wolverine Access at Umich

• Go to wolverineaccess.umich.edu to access it.
• Click “Student Business” under the “Students” heading.
• Enter your unique name.
• Type your Umich password here.
• To access your records and personal information, click the login button.

How to Create a Friend Account for Wolverine Access

• Request a Friend Account by going there.
• Click Request after entering your email address outside of school.
• You will see a Message Sent screen informing you that a message with additional instructions has been sent to the email address you supplied.
• Look for a message from friend-noreply@umich.edu when you open your email. If you don’t see the message, look in your spam or junk mail folder.
• Click the Create Friend Account link on the message.
• You may access the Create a Friend Account page by clicking the link.
• The email address you supplied in Step 2 above should be entered.
• Enter your desired password twice for your Friend account.
•  Click Set Password.
• Your newly formed Friend account is confirmed on a confirmation page.
• Additionally, a note through email informing you of the creation of your Friend account will be sent to you.
• If you don’t see the message, look in your spam or junk mail folder.

Change Your Wolverine Access User Role Instructions

• Upon logging in, Wolverine Access presents links and sections according to your MCommunity position.
• There isn’t a position allocated to users who have buddy accounts right now.
• You can choose a different role from the Roles drop-down if you are not logged in or if you want to change what roles are displayed.
• To ensure that the changes take effect, make sure to close the Roles drop-down.
