Perinatal Graduate Nursing Scholarships

The March of Dimes awards many $5,000 scholarships each year to registered nurses enrolling in graduate programs of maternal-child nursing to encourage excellence in nursing care of mothers and newborns. The Scholarships provide postgraduate funding.
This program is designed for working nurses who desire to obtain a Masters’s or Doctorate degree. March of Dimes sponsors community activities and education for professionals as a part of our objective to stop avoidable maternal health risks and mortality, halt preterm birth and bridge the health equity gap for every family. The scholarship award acknowledges and encourages nursing excellence, and it furthers the organization’s commitment to ensuring women and newborns receive the best medical care possible. March of Dimes partner for more than 25 years, will provide each nurse with a $5,000 scholarship this year.

Perinatal Graduate Nursing Scholarships Application Eligibility Requirement

• Applicant must be a registered nurse.
• Applicant must be a cititzen of thje U.S
• Applicant must currently be enrolled in graduate education with a focus on maternal-child nursing at the masters or doctorate level.
• Applicant must have at least one academic term to complete after August of the year in which the scholarship is awarded.
• Applicants must be a member of the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses; the American College of Nurse-Midwives; or the National Association of Neonatal Nurses.
• Applicant must be enrolled in an accredited institution pursuing Master’s level study, Doctoral-level study
• The deadline for 2023 is March 15, 2023.
• Scholarship recipients are announced in June.

• Complete and submit the application form
• Submit proof of enrollment into the accredited institution
• Submit school transcript
• Submit application and supportive documents before March 15, 2023.
