National Association for Hispanic Nurses (NAHN) Nursing Scholarships

National Association for Hispanic Nurses (NAHN) Nursing Scholarships members enrolling in associate, diploma, bachelor, graduate, or practical/vocational nursing programs are eligible for these rewards. The National Association for Hispanic Nurses Scholarships aims to advance the profession of Hispanic nurses by helping promote nursing degrees within Hispanic cultures, making improvements to healthcare within Hispanic communities, promoting educational and professional equality among Hispanic students and nurses, and raising awareness of health disparities among local, state, and national stakeholders. The number of scholarships offered each year is dependent upon the amount in the scholarship fund. The National Association of Hispanic Nurses is grateful to the United Health Foundation Diverse Scholars Initiative’s Latino Health Scholars Program for providing scholarship funds and related services. The selection of recipients is based on current academic standing. Scholarship winners are a select group of Hispanic students who have demonstrated the ability to make future professional contributions to the nursing profession and who may serve as role models for other aspiring nursing students.
