MyUTampa: Free Guide to UTampa Login Portal 2023

MyUTampa is the online student portal for the University of Tampa. MyUTampa is your launchpad to many of the applications you use every day on your computer and mobile device. MyUTampa is the online portal that makes it easier to access all UT applications as well as reduces the number of accounts and passwords you have to remember.

Okta Mobile is a mobile app for the University of Tampa that is used to access your MyUTampa application through your mobile device. Okta Mobile is available on App Store for Apple users and Google Play Store for Android Users. Download your Okta Mobile from the Google Play Store now or from the App Store to access your MyUTampa application. Ensure that you are installing Okta Mobile and not Okta Verify.

To access your myLSU, you will be required to log in first with your UT Network ID and Password. To log in, you must ensure that you have created your MyUTampa account. To create your MyUTampa account, follow the details provided here:

How to Create Your MyUTampa Account

1. Go to the MyUTampa Login Portal at https://ut.edu/myutampa on your web browser.
2. Click on “Log into MyUTampa”.
3. Enter your Username. Your username for MyUTampa is the same username or ID you use to log in to the University network provided to you during your admission process.
4. Enter your Password.
5. Click on “Sign In”.
6. Enter a secondary email address. This will be used in case you forgot your password and it will send you a link to reset your password.
7. Select a forgot password question and answer to reset your password in case you forget it. There is a list of questions from the dropdown menu. At the very bottom, you can create your own question too.
   
8. Click the ” Add Phone Number” button and enter your cell phone number. This will be used in case you forgot your password and it will text you a link to reset your password.
9. Click on “Send Code”.
10. You will receive a text message with a 6-digit code. Enter the code and click on “Verify”.
11. Click on “Done” to proceed.
    
12. Select a Picture for your security image by clicking on it.
13. Click on “Create My Account”. You will now be in the MyUTampa portal.

Once you are done creating your MyUTampa account, you access your account anytime by just logging in. To log in, follow the steps below:

How to Login and Access your MyUTampa Account

1. Go to the MyUTampa Login Portal at https://ut.edu/myutampa on your web browser.
2. Click on “Log into MyUTampa”.
3. Enter your Username. Your username for MyUTampa is the same username or ID you use to log in to the University network provided to you during your admission process.
4. Enter your Password.
5. Click on “Sign In” to access your account.
   
6. Once you are logged in, you can access Blackboard, SANS Securing the Human (Security Awareness), BSwift (HR benefits) without logging in again.

How to Add or Change your Secondary Email Address

Adding a secondary email to retrieve a forgotten password is strongly suggested. To add or change your secondary email;

1. Log in to your MyUTampa account by following the steps above.
2. Once you are logged in, Click on your name in the upper right corner.
3. Select Setting
4. Locate the “Personal Information” section and click on the “Edit button”.
5. Enter the secondary email address you would like to use to recover your forgotten passwords.

On the same Setting page, you can edit your security image, display language, password and your forgotten password question.
