MyUNM is an online portal for students of the University of New Mexico. MyUNM serves as a one-stop shop for accessing both internal and external resources of the University of New Mexico. MyUNM provides access to hundreds of internal resources including systems, websites, feeds and events, eradicating the need to keep a list of individual links. myUNM can be accessed from any modern device that has internet access and a supported browser for myUNM.

With the myUNM, students as well as employees can easily access vital UNM links and information. With the University of New Mexico portal (myUNM), you can access most of the institutional applications and customize the portal to meet your personal requirements including altering the appearance, adding bookmarks and many more. Access to the myUNM portal grants access to the LoboApps. LoboApps is a unique way to search for and utilise UNM’s online services by embracing the popular app-store model that Apple and Google are known for.

All details and guides on how to access and operate or navigate your myUNM account are available here. myUNM is accessible to all students and employees of the University of New Mexico on a supported web browser. The following browsers officially support and can be used to access myUNM; Mozilla Firefox 18+, Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome 26+, Apple Safari 7+ (desktop) or iOS 6+ (mobile) and Android Browser 4.4 (KitKat) +. To access myUNM, you will have to log in with your NetID and Password.

Your UNM NetID and Password are your keys to access many of UNM’s online services, including myUNM and LoboMail, as well as on-campus computer systems. Students, faculty, and staff are required to create a NetID when they join the university. If you haven’t created yours, follow the steps below to create one:

How to Create your NetID

1. Go to UNM NetID page at  NetID.unm.edu on your web browser.
2. Select the “UNM NetID Registration” link.
3. Enter your UNM Banner ID number and date of birth (mm/dd/yyyy) in their respective fields.
4. Create your preferred UNM NetID.
5. Enter your mobile number. This will be used to confirm your identity for password changes in the future.
6. Create a password for your UNM NetID.
7. Select and answer the security questions of your choice.

Once you have created your NetID and password, you can proceed to log into your myUNM and access it.

How to Login to myUNM

1. Go to myUNM home page at my.unm.edu on a supported web browser.
2. Click on “Login” at the top right.
3. The myUNM login page will appear.
4. Enter your UNM NetID followed by “@unm.edu”.
5. Enter your password.
6. Click on “LOGIN” to access your myUNM student portal.

How to Reset your Forgotten Password

1. Go to UNM NetID page at  NetID.unm.edu on your web browser.
2. Click the “Change My Password” and select “I Forgot My Password”.
3. Select “Log in to UNM NetID”
4. In the “Username” field, enter your NetID and Click on the “Forgot Password?” link.
5. Choose the method with which you would like to verify your identity.
6. Verify your Identity.
7. Enter the desired new NetID password in both the “Enter New Password” and “Confirm Password” fields.
8. Click on the “Submit” button.
9. Click on “Complete” to return to the homepage to log in with the new password.

How to Register for Classes

1. Login to your myUNM student portal using your NetID and Password.
2. Click on the red “LoboWeb” link.
3. Click on the “Student Life” tab across the top left of the myUNM webpage.
4. From the Student & Financial Aid Menu click on “Registration & Records”
5. Click on the “Registration (Add/Drop), Course Search, Check for Holds” link and select a term from the drop-down menu.
6. Click on “Submit” and Read any Announcements.
7. Select the “REGISTRATION PORTAL” button then select “REGISTER FOR MY CLASSES”.
8. Select the term for which you will want to register.
9. Select the “CONTINUE” button and the Accept Financial Responsibility.
10. Now follow the instruction provided on your screen to add or drop a class.
