myUni is the student login portal and online platform for the University of Newcastle(UNI). myUni serves as a personalised platform at the University of Newcastle and enables students and members of UNI to have better connections with the university systems, processes and people. myUni provides single sign-on access to most of the significant student applications or systems in the university such as NUmail, myHub and the Canvas learning management system.

The myUni was designed for students, with upgrades and additional features being added on an ongoing basis to meet your needs. The myUni student portal is available and accessible on a web browser on your desktop and on your mobile device via the myUni mobile app.

Provided here is an updated guide on how to access the student portal of the University of Newcastle (myUni). The University’s student portal, myUni is a mobile and browser-enabled application. Students and Staff can access myUni. To access myUni, you are required to first log in with your student number (prefaced by a ‘c’) and password. Students who do not have their student number should contact Student Central by phone, email or chat.

How to Login to myUni

1. Navigate to the UNI Login page at myuni.newcastle.edu.au on your web browser.
2. The Select Proflie page will appear.
3. Click on “Select Profile” then select “Student” to take you to the student login page.
4. Enter your student number as your username. Your student number must be prefaced with a “c” (example c1234567).
5. Enter your password.
6. Click on “Sign In” to access your student dashboard.

Students can also login to their myUni account through the myUni app on their mobile devices. The myUni App is available on iOS and Android from the app stores. Students are urged to download the myUni app on App Store for iOS and Google Play Store for Android devices. Install and launch the myUni app to log in and access your account.

New students should follow the sets below to set up their accounts.

How to Set up your Account as a New Student

1. Accept your offer by logging in to MyHub at https://www.newcastle.edu.au/acceptmyoffer. Use your application number (found on your offer letter) as your username and date of birth (DDMM) as your password.
2. Click on ‘Student Login Details’ and your student number will be displayed. Copy or write this information down, as you will need it again.
3. Click on ‘Activate Account.
4. The Account Activation form will open. Enter your Student Number, First name, Last name and Date of birth in their respective fields.
5. Proceed to create a password for your account.
6. Enter a new password, and re-enter your new password to confirm.
7. Read the IT Conditions of Use Policy.
8. Click the “I Accept the terms in the IT Conditions of Use Policy” check the box if you agree to the conditions stated.
9. Type the “Captcha code” from the picture.
10. Click on “Submit” once you have filled in all the required fields.
11. The Account Activation Success page will now be displayed.

Login to myUni and select myHub to enrol in a course, register for class activities and drop a course.
