MySJSU: Helpful Guide to SJSU Login Portal 2023

San José State University’s student online portal is the MySJSU. MySJSU is built on the PeopleSoft platform. MySJSU is the system used by faculty, staff and students including applicants for admission for their student data. The primary focus or use of MySJSU is for student data. MySJSU is the first and best source of information regarding your status as a student at San José State University. Faculty can employ MySJSU to view advising info and print class rosters, enter student grades and utilize the University Expert Database. Likewise, San José State University employees can use MySJSU to update personal data, view benefit information, and view and/or update absence information:

Faculty and Students can use the system to see:

• Academic Advising
• Applicant and Admission Data
• Class Rosters
• Enrol in Classes and View Records
• Financial Aid
• Grading
• Pay Bills
• Schedule of Classes

Faculty, Staff and Students can use the system for:

• Alert-SJSU Enrollment and Maintenance
• Changing or Updating:
• Address, Email, and Phone
• Emergency Contacts
• Preferred Name

MySJSU: Helpful Guide to SJSU Login Portal 2023

MySJSU is available and accessible to all faculty, staff, students and employees. Essential and timely notices, such as admission status, financial aid, enrollment appointment, SJSU academic calendar, tuition and fees, and payment closing dates can be checked in your MySLSU account. Accessing your MySJSU grants you access to all these notices. To access your MySJSU account, you must first log into MySJSU with your SJSU ID and password.

How to Log into MySJSU

1. Navigate or go to the one.SJSU Spartan App Portal at https://one.sjsu.edu on your web browser.
2. On the one.SJSU Spartan App Portal page, click on “MySJSU”.
3. The MySJSU Sign In page will open. Enter your SJSU ID number.
4. Enter your password for MySJSU.
5. Click on “Sign In”.

If you have not yet activated your MySJSU Account you must do so before you can have access or log into MySJSU. Details and procedure to follow to activate your MySJSU account has been provided below.

How to Activate your MySJSU

After submitting your application, an email will be sent to you with your nine-digit SJSU ID included. This nine-digit number will be your immediate SJSU identification throughout your career at SJSU. This email is crucial to setting up your MySJSU student portal. To set up your MySJSU student portal:

1. Search for the email with your SJSU ID
2. Go to the Password Reset App at https://sjsuone.sjsu.edu/SJSUOne/ResetPassword to set your password to access your MySJSU student portal.
3. Enter the nine-digit SJSU ID you received or found in the email.
4. Select one of the options provided to set your password for the first time. To reset your password, follow the same process.
5. Now sign in or log in to your MySJSU student portal using your SJSU ID and the password you set. Follow the sets provided above to sign in to MySJSU.
6. Make sure your personal information is up-to-date. Check your email address because is very important. Be sure to set your filters to receive messages from the @sjsu.edu domain.

Review your MySJSU account at least once a week for critical and timely notices, such as admission status, fees, financial aid, enrollment appointment, tuition and fees, payment deadlines, and more. In case you have lost your ID and/or password, click on the yellow “Lost Password?” link on the Spartan App Portal at one.sjsu.edu.

You can check your application status through your MySJSU account by scrolling to the bottom of your MySJSU student centre to view your application status.
