MyNova: Complete Guide to Access My Nova Login 2023

Numerous Virginia Community College System (VCCS) applications, including email, Novaconnect, Blackboard, Canvas, and more, are accessible through the MyNova portal without requiring a separate login. For further details about the MyNoval Portal for the academic year 2023, see the section below.

Logging Into MyNOVA

On the NOVA homepage, select the myNOVA tab.
Type your Username.
Type your password.
Press Log In.
Links to the Student Information System, Student Email, and Canvas are displayed on the following page. To access NOVAConnect, click VCCS SIS: Student Information System.
Always remember to Sign Out after you’re done to protect the privacy and security of your account information.

Finding Your User Name

On the NOVA homepage, select the gold MyNOVA tab.
Select the MyNova button in green.
Whenever a new page loads. On the Forgot Username link, click.
Put your First Name, Last Name, and DOB in the first field (MMDDYY).
You can now provide either your EMPLID or SSN in the second area. You can now select to put the Faculty/Staff Email, Phone Number, EMLID or SSN in the third area.
Select “Search” from the menu.
Your username will show up if the data you supplied is accurate and included in your SIS profile.

Resetting Password On MyNova

On the NOVA homepage, select the MyNOVA tab.
Select the MyNova button in green.
Click Log In after entering your Username and Password.
Click Account Details in the window’s upper right corner.
Change your password by clicking the link.
Type a new password that complies with the requirements for security listed on the right side of the page:
one uppercase letter or more
at least one letter in lowercase
a minimum of one number (0-9)
a minimum of one special character, such as $,%,, etc.
Click the “OK” button.
