myLSU: How to Access LSU Students Portal 2023

MyLSU is a personalized online resource portal for Louisiana State University. MyLSU serves as the online student portal for all members of Louisiana State University’s Faculty, Students and staff to enable them to access Louisiana State University’s Online Resources. With MyLSU, students, faculty and staff can access resources like Calendar, Moodle, Campus Map, TigerCash (LSU Tiger Card), Emergency Text Message System, Degree Audit and Clickers / Student Response System.

The MyLSU account has a username and a password given to every member of Louisiana State University to access all their MyLSU account for all their LSU’s Online Resources, applications and services. The following popular resources of Louisiana State University can also be accessed through the MyLSU Portal:

• GROK:  LSU’s Online Knowledge Base.  Provides documentation on software & technology offered by LSU IT Services, along with many articles on other aspects of LSU.
• TigerWare: Get plenty of free & discounted software. A valuable resource offered to current LSU students.
• LSUMail: The e-mail system provided to students by the University.
• Wireless: Connect to the Secure Wireless Network at LSU.

myLSU: How to Access LSU Students Portal 2023

All details as well as step-by-step guides to assist students on how to have access to their myLSU student portal. To access your myLSU, you will be required to log in first with your myLSU account ID and myLSU Password. First-time or new students must first activate their account before they can be able to log in. Follow the step provide to activate your MyLSU account.

How to Activate myLSU Account

1. Navigate to the MyLSU login portal page at https://mylsu.apps.lsu.edu on your web browser.
2. Click on “Forgot Password” on the myLSU screen.
3. Enter your myLSU account (new LSU students or staff) or communityLSU email address (parent or guardian using myProxy).
4. Click on “Continue”.
5. Enter your Last Name, and your Birth Date, and then enter the Last 4 digits of your SSN or the Last 4 digits of your LSU ID. CommunityLSU users (parents or guardians using myProxy) will receive an email to set their password instead.
   
6. Enter your New Password.
7. Confirm your password by reentering it.
8. Click on the “Change Password” at the bottom.

24 hours after activating your myLSU account, you will be able to access your Housing contract and the other myLSU features. Below are the steps to guide you on how to log into your MyLSU account.

How to Login to MyLSU Portal

1. On your web browser, navigate or visit the MyLSU student login portal at https://mylsu.apps.lsu.edu.
2. Enter your Username. Your username is your myLSU account ID followed by @lsu.edu.
3. Enter your myLSU Password.
4. Click on “Login” to access your myLSU dashboard.

Students can set up a Password Reset Question which will grant them the ability to reset their MyLSU Account password online. Follow the steps below to set it;

How to Set myLSU Password Reset Question

1. Log into the myLSU Portal by following the steps provided above.
2. Click on the “Home” tab at the top of the screen”.
3. You will see a link for My Password Reset Question towards the middle of the page in the Password Management section.
4. Select the “Password Reset Question” from the drop-down menu.
5. Enter your Current Password.
6. Select your Password Reset Question from the drop-down list, then type the answer in the box underneath it.
7. Click on “Submit” at the bottom centre of the screen.
