MyEIU: How to Access EIU PAWS and EIU PantherMail 2023

MyEIU is a portal to personalize your web access to Eastern Illinois University. With MyEIU, you can check your admission status, and your financial aid status, register for your Orientation, Advisement and Registration program and register for housing on your very own profile page.

EIU PAWS (Panther Access to Web Services) is an online system which enables students, faculty, staff and annuitants to access a variety of information through the internet. Panther Access to Web Services (PAWS) is a secure, self-service system that allows students, faculty and advisors, and staff to access online university services. PAWS provides faculty and staff with access to online resources and information, including time sheets, pay stubs, benefits, W2 and W4 forms and personal information.

EIU PantherMail is the official communication channel for all academic and university notices which is powered by Microsoft Office 365. Official communication includes class schedules, student financial aid notifications, and account statements from the Business Office are communicated through the EIU PantherMail.

MyEIU: How to Access EIU PAWS and EIU PantherMail

Provided here is a complete guide to assist you with how to access MyEIU, EIU PAWS and EIU PantherMail. To access your MyEIU or EIU PAWS or EIU PantherMail, you must first log in with your NetID and Password. Your NetID and Password are used to access any site essential for academic functions such as PAWS (the online student information system), EIU email (PantherMail). For MyEIU you can log in with your email address or Net ID and password.

How to Log into MyEIU

1. 1. Navigate to EUI’s website homepage at https://www.eiu.edu.
   2. Click on MyEIU at the top right.
   3. If this is your first time logging in, click on the register as a new user. If you are a continuing student, jump to step 6.
   4. Select the appropriate student classification link.
   5. Register using your personal email and your password
   6. Enter your email address or Net ID and Password.
   7. Click on Login to access your MyEIU.

If you don’t have your NetID and password, then follow the steps below to locate it.

1. Navigate to EUI’s website homepage at https://www.eiu.edu.
2. Click on MyEIU at the top right.
3. Log in using your personal email and password.
4. Locate Admissions Checklist. Your NetID and Password will appear under your  Admissions Checklist.
5. Write your NetID and initial password and keep it safe.

Once you have your NetID and Password, you can log into your EIU PantherMail and EIU PAWS.

How to Log into EUI PantherMail

1. Navigate to EUI’s website homepage at https://www.eiu.edu.
2. In the upper right-hand corner, select the “Panthermail” tab.
3. Enter your Net ID.
4. Enter your password.
5. Click on ‘Sign in” to access your EIU PantherMail dashboard.
6. Your PantherMail has all of the features of Microsoft Office360, and you can save any work you do to your account so you can access it anywhere!. To access your Panthermail, select “outlook”.

How to Log into EIU PAWS

1. Navigate to EUI’s website homepage at https://www.eiu.edu.
2. In the upper right-hand corner, select the “PAWS” tab. You can access PAWS directly by going to http://www.eiu.edu/pawslogin and then clicking on “LOG IN TO PAWS”.
3. Enter your Net ID.
4. Enter your password.
5. Click on ‘Sign in” to access your PAWS homepage.

PAWS is available 24 hours a day except for 6 a.m. – 12 p.m. Sundays and other times with prior notification to your EIU email address. Please call EIU User Services at 217-581-HELP (4357) if you have forgotten your Net ID or password or are having problems signing on to PAWS.
