9. Ray Kruck & Jennifer Vancini Climate Action Leadership MBA Entrance Award

Due to a generous donation from Ray Kruck and Jennifer Vancini, two entry scholarships of $10,000 each are given each year to deserving candidates for the Master of Business Administration program who want to engage in the fields of sustainability and climate change. The ability to successfully address the climate catastrophe must be demonstrated by applicants via prior employment, civic engagement and responsible leadership, as well as their long-term professional goals.

Entrepreneurs Ray Kruck (MBA 1992) and Jennifer Vancini (MBA 1993) have maintained close ties to UBC since receiving their degrees and volunteer their time to UBC Sauder School of Business initiatives like the Creative Destructive Lab – Vancouver while residing in San Francisco.
