MavMAIL: Helpful Guide to Access MNSU Email Account 2023

The official means of communication at Minnesota State University, Mankato is MNSU MavMAIL. You must check it as a student at least once every day to stay up to speed on important University and class information. Office 365, which also includes programs like Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Teams, OneNote, and OneDrive, includes MavMAIL. Logging Into MavMAIL

Use your web browser to go to mavmail.mnsu.edu.
To sign in to Office 365/MavMail, click the button.
Use the right sign-on ID for the student.
Click or type your StarID@go.minnstate.edu and click Next.
Enter your StarID password when asked.
Press Sign In.
Click Outlook’s icon after that.

Setting Up Mavmail For Android

To set up Mavmail on an android device, you have two main options to choose from:

Office 365

Access your smartphone’s settings.
Click Add Account after navigating to your Accounts.
Select Email and press Office365.
Kindly note that if you do not see an option for Office 365, add the account by going to accounts in the Email app.
Enter your StarID password and MavMAIL email address.
Permissions sought may appear on a screen.
It is necessary for you to touch Accept.
Change any parameters to your liking by scrolling through the menus. After making all of your desired selections, scroll to the bottom and click Next.
Your mail account should be set up after selecting Accept. The account’s default name is modified by you.

Exchange

Accessed your smartphone’s settings.
Click Add Account after navigating to your Accounts.
Select Email and press Exchange.
Please enter the information as prompted. Your email address will be your MNSU email address, which for students is StarID@go.minnstate.edu.
Your StarID password will serve as your password.
Choose the manual setup if the automatic setup is unsuccessful.
Outlook.office365.com will serve as the Exchange Server.
Select the Use secure connection checkbox (SSL).
Press Next once this data has been entered.
You will get a screen asking you to Apply security features; click Apply.
Change any parameters to your liking by scrolling through the menus. After making all of your desired selections, scroll to the bottom and click Next.

Setting Up MavMail On iPhone

Tap Settings.
Choose Mail.
Choose Add Account.
Choose Exchange.
Enter your StarID@minnstate.edu and name if you are an employee for this account.
You should name this account and input your StarID@go.minnstate.edu.
Sign in by entering your StarID password.
Choose Save.
Check to see if the new account is real.
Choose either the Outlook App or the Mail application.
Choose Mailboxes.
To view only emails from that account, choose MSU E-Mail or MinnState E-Mail.
