Kentucky Nursing Incentive Scholarship Fund

Kentucky Nursing Incentive scholarships Fund are only available to Kentucky residents who are enrolled in an eligible pre-licensure nursing school or graduate nursing program. The Kentucky Board of Nursing will pick the candidate who is the most qualified for a scholarship through this fund and give $3,000 each year of attendance. The grants cover any expenses incurred by the student while attending classes, such as lodging and resources. The amount of each scholarship is $1,500 per semester, maximum of $3,000 per year, The funds are thus directly awarded to the recipients and not to their programs of nursing and scholarship recipients must complete one year of full-time work as nurses in Kentucky for each year of a study funded

Kentucky Nursing Incentive Scholarship Application Requirements

Applicant must be a Kentucky resident
currently attending a nursing program either in or out of the state of Kentuck/students currently completing the core nursing courses
Applicant must demonstrate the need for financial aid.
Applicant must maintain the academic requirements and required GPA
15 credit hours of the published nursing program is required per academic year from Pre-licensure applicants
9 credit hours of published nursing program requirements per academic year from Graduates.
LPNs that are seeking an RN degree, and RNs that are seeking a BSN degree, are eligible to apply

All applications are being accepted between January 1 and June 8, 2023.

Attach an official financial need application forms
Submit a personal statement
