The Irene and Daisy MacGregor Memorial Scholarship founded by the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) scholarship is given to two students who have been admitted into or are pursuing an authorized course of study to become medical doctors at an approved, recognized medical school and Students who have been accepted into or are pursuing a graduate-level course of study in the field of psychiatric nursing at a recognized medical institution are eligible. Recipients of the Scholarship are awarded $5,000.Females are given preference if they are equally qualified. Scholarship renewal Renewal is conditional upon the maintenance of a GPA of 3.25. Irene and Daisy MacGregor Scholarship Eligibility Requirement

• Applicants must be citizens of the United States.
• Applicants must attend or plan to attend an accredited college or university in the United States.
• All multi-year scholarships, which are normally renewable for up to four years, must be used in successive years.
• Awards are based on academic excellence, commitment to the field of study
• Applicant must be in a state of financial assistance
• Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.25 or higher
• The awards are deposited with the recipient’s institution or university directly.
• Applicants are only eligible to receive one scholarship from the scholarship program.
• Students of all gender, race, colour, religion, national origins or disabilities are eligible to apply.
• The application must be submitted before January 31, 2023.

How to Apply Irene and Daisy MacGregor Memorial Scholarship

• The application process is open from November 1, 2023, to January 31, 2023.
• Sign up and complete the online application via the website; https://dar.academicworks.com/users/sign_in
• Submit Proof of United States citizenship
• Submit your Essay and recommendation letters
• Attach and submit all official transcripts and resume
• The application must be submitted before Janaury 31, 2023.
