For the academic year 2023-2024, Frostburg State University is giving partially financed fellowships to overseas students. FSU’s campus is dynamic and diverse, with students and scholars from more than 50 nations which is located in Frostburg, Maryland, USA. International students with F-1, F-2, J-1, J-2, and G-series visas, as well as non-citizens with only I-688A or I-688B cards, a notice of approval to apply for Permanent Residence (I-171 or I-464), or only Family Unity Status (Form I-797), must show proof of sufficient resources to meet their expenses while attending Frostburg State University, and federal regulations limit financial assistance. The scholarship is available to undertake Graduate level programs at Frostburg State University. Students with an F-1 visa, a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA), and admission to one of Frostburg State University’s graduate programmes are eligible for international graduate fellowships each academic year.
A screening committee selects candidates from among applicants based on their academic credentials, professional objectives, and experience.
Only awards for the academic year are awarded. If the recipient maintains full-time enrollment, a cumulative GPA of 3.0, and continues to be in good academic standing, awards may be renewed. Up to 30 credit hours of tuition are covered by these prizes, and the recipients also get an annual stipend of $6,030.
International Graduate Fellowship Application Requirement/Eligibility 2023-24
- This scholarship program is open to international students.
- International Graduate Fellowships applicant must possess an F-1 visa
- Applicant must have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 and transfer students with a total college cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher
- Applicants must apply and are chosen by a review committee based on academic qualification, experience, and professional goals
- Awards may be renewed if the recipient maintains full-time enrollment.
International Graduate Fellowship Application Procedure
- Applicants are automatically considered for an academic scholarship based on eligibility criteria and information provided in their application for admission
- The application must be submitted before February 15, 2023.
