Illinois amvets sad sacks nursing scholarships 2023-2024 seek to provide educate children about flag etiquette and to provide scholarships to assist in their education and career. Every year, the Illinois AMVETS Service Foundation funds a scholarship program for graduating Illinois high school students to further their studies. Applicants must be in their second year or higher of nursing school and produce a copy of their acceptance letter from a recognized nursing program. The dependant of a deceased or handicapped veteran is given priority. The provides four(4)various types of aids to society; The various scholarship programs are;

• Illinois AMVETS Veterans Scholarship
• Sad Sacks Nursing Scholarship
• Ladies Auxiliary Memorial Scholarship
• Ladies Auxiliary Worchid Scholarship

 

Illinois amvets sad sacks nursing scholarships Application Requirement 2023-2024

• Applicant must be a 2nd year or greater nursing student
• Applicant must Provide a copy of the acceptance letter into an accredited nursing program
• Priority is given to a veteran’s dependant who is deceased or handicapped or the applicant must be the Child or grandchild of a veteran
• Applicants must be Illinois high school seniors who have been accepted into a nursing program.
• Applicant must have a satisfactory academic record
• Applicant must be in a state of financial need
• Applicant must be able to provide character and activity record
• The application must be submitted before March 01, 2023

• Complete and submit the application form via the official website; https://www.ilamvets.org/scholarships
• Submit the most recent and up-to-date official transcripts and an explanation of the school grading system
• Attach all official transcripts
• Submit a letter from an accredited nursing program stating your enrollment.
