Ikhala TVET College was established in April 2002. The institution has about 1400 students and most are from the Eastern Cape Province in the Northern Region of the country. Their campuses are in Sterkspruit, Queenstown, Aliwal North, Ezibeleni, and Queen Nonesi.

There is no residential housing available, so students must rent from private hostels which is easy to get since the college is close to the town’s downtown. NSFAS For Ikhala Tvet College
