As a direct result of the merger of multiple outdated Technical Colleges, Ikhala TVET College was founded on April 1, 2002. Around 1400 kids attend the school, with the majority being from the Eastern Cape. The Ikhala campuses may be found in Aliwal North, Ezibeleni, Queen Nonesi, Queenstown, and Sterkspruit.
