How to Access Humber College LMS 2023

Below is a step-by-step guide to assist you to access your Humber Blackboard. Accessing your Humber College’s Blackboard, grants you access to your online course materials and activities. To access your Humber Blackboard, you must first log in to your Humber College LMS or Blackboard account on your desktop or laptop computer using a web browser or on your mobile device using the Blackboard app. To access through Humber College LMS or Blackboard, kindly follow the steps below to login:

How to Log into Humber Blackboard

1. Go to or visit the Humber Blackboard page at https://learn.humber.ca on your web browser.
2. Enter your username and then add @humber.ca. Your username required here is the same username you use for MyHumber.
3. Enter your password. if you’re logging in for the first time, you will be given a temporary password by ITS. After you log in, you will be asked to change your password. If you have issues with your password contact the ITS service desk.
4. Click on “Log in” to access your Humber College LMS.

How to Log into Humber Blackboard via Blackboard App

To log in with the app, verify if Humber College has enabled mobile device access. If yes download the Blackboard app from Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS). Your device needs one of these operating systems to run the Blackboard Learn app, either iOS 11+ or Android 6+. Install the Blackboard app on your mobile device and follow the steps below to login:

How to Join Blackboard Collaborate Ultra Session

You can join a session directly from a web link, from your course or phone depending on the session and moderator.

From a Web Link: Your moderator will send the link to join the session. Click or open the link in your web browser. The Blackboard collaborate is at the top of the screen and will mention what session you are joining and provide a place to type your name. Click “Join Session” after typing your name.

From your course: Open Collaborate from inside your course. It will open in your Humber learning management system.

From your phone: If offered by your institution, you can use the telephony feature to communicate with other users.

From the Blackboard app: You can open sessions from the Blackboard app when the links are supplied in your courses.
