Ikhala TVET College was established in April 2002. The institution has about 1400 students and most are from the Eastern Cape Province in the Northern Region of the country. Their campuses are in Sterkspruit, Queenstown, Aliwal North, Ezibeleni, and Queen Nonesi.

NSFAS For Ikhala
Students who require financial aid can turn to the National Student Financial Aid Service (NSFAS). The student must be enrolled in a TVET college like the Ikhala TVET College and come from a family with an annual income of no more than R350,000 in order to qualify for Nsfas.
