The student portal for University of California – Merced students is called UC Merced Portal. Throughout your stay at UC Merced, you’ll use the Connect Platform as a valuable resource. You may access detailed information regarding Financial Aid, Admissions, registration, records, and more there whenever you need it in an updated, secure environment. Please refer to the material on the UC Merced Portal for 2023 below.
After entering your personal email, click “Submit.”
To retrieve your claim number from idmemail@ucmerced.edu, go to your personal email.
Enter your claim number by returning to “Account Claim” in step 4.
Choose “Submit” after creating a new password that satisfies the page’s requirements.
A confirmation screen with your UCMNetID will appear.

You have the option to forward emails from the university to another account.
If you want to do so, it is your duty to make sure that any messages sent to your official email address issued by the university, including any attachments, are appropriately forwarded to that other email address.
